Since 2009, Cycles du Port has been renting and maintaining its bikes a stone’s throw from the towers of La Rochelle. The whole team will suggest a route to suit your level: around the Old Port, through the marshes, or across to the Île de Ré.

General rental terms and conditions
These terms apply to all rentals of bikes and accessories. The customer accepts them when booking and they are attached to the rental contract.
Item 1Item
These terms govern the rental of bikes, accessories and services offered by the shop, both online and in store.
Item 2Booking and payment
The booking is confirmed once a 30% down payment or the full amount has been paid online. The balance is due at the latest when the bikes are collected.
Item 3Pick-up and return
Bikes are collected from and returned to the shop during opening hours. They must be returned clean, in the condition in which they were handed over.
Item 4Cancellation
Free up to 48 hours before departure. After that, the down payment is non-refundable.
Item 5Deposit
€1,200 per e-bike, €300 per standard bike, as a bank pre-authorisation, released on return.
Item 6Proof of identity
Valid proof of identity is required when collecting the bikes.
Item 7Minimum age
14 for an e-bike; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Item 8Late return
€10 per hour or part hour late, unless agreed with the shop beforehand.
Item 9Damage and theft
€250 excess, reduced to €0 with damage and theft cover.

Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, free of charge up to 48 hours before departure. Your down payment is refunded in full.
How does the deposit work?
It is a bank pre-authorisation: it is only charged in the event of damage.
Will the bikes be adjusted to our height?
Yes, just give us each rider’s height: the bikes are adjusted before you arrive.
Do you accept holiday vouchers?
Yes, at the counter, when you collect the bikes.
